Cultural Connection and Home Stay (7 Days/ 6 Nghts)
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport after enjoying views of sacred peaks from the flight. You will be received by our representatives. Visit Ta Dzong National Museum and Rinpung Dzong in Paro. Drive to Thimphu and check into your home stay or traditional farm house.
Day 2: Thimphu Cultural Exploration
Visit National Memorial Chorten and School of Arts and Crafts, Textile and Heritage Museum to learn about Bhutanese craftsmanship and culture.
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive to ancient capital of Punakha via scenic Dochula Pass. Visit majestic Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress at the confluence of two rivers. Experience a hot stone bath for relaxing and traditional activity.
Day 4: Punakha and Home Stay
Visit the fertility temple of Chimi Lhakhang and the breathtaking Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten. Walk through the village and proceed to Phobjikha valley for overnight home stay.
Day 5: Return to Paro
Day-long drive back to Paro. On the way, visit and pay respect to the world’s largest sitting Buddha Statue in Thimphu. Overnight stay in Paro.
Day 6: Hike to Taktsang Monastery
Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, a sacred Buddhist site perched on a cliff.
Day 7: Departure
After your culturally immersive home stay experience, drive to the airport for your international flight back home.
