Bhutan Couple Tour Itinerary (7 Nights 8 Days)
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu
Fly into Paro International airport (stunning Himalayan views). Drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours). Welcome with traditional Bhutanese scarves (Khaddar) at the airport. Sightseeing (time permitting): Buddha Dordenma Statue. Evening: Stroll at Clock Tower Square and craft market.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
Morning: National Memorial Chorten, Motithang Takin Preservation. Afternoon: Traditional Arts and Crafts School, Simply Bhutan Museum (couple photo session in Bhutanese dress). Evening: Romantic dinner at a local Bhutanese restaurant.

Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha (Via Dochu La Pass)
Scenic 3-hour drive via Dochu La Pass (3100m, 108 stupas, panoramic Himalayan views). Visit Punakha Dzong, walk across the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan (great photo spot) or optional riverside picnic. Overnight: Punakha
Day 4: Punakha & Wangdiphodrang Excursion
Morning: Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple). Afternoon: Visit Wangdi town, explore local markets, riverside walk along Phochu river. Evening: Candlelit dinner in Punakha.

Day 5: Punakha – Phobjikha Valley (Gangtey)
Drive 3 hours to Gangtey (beautiful glacial valley). Visit Gangtey Monastery (romantic views), Phobjikha Nature Trail (hand-in-hand walk through meadows). Special: Campfire and stargazing.

Day 6: Phobjikha – Paro
Drive 5-6 hours back to Paro. Enroute: Stop at village houses for tea with locals. Evening: Leisure walks in Paro town, couple spa & hot stone bath.

Day 7: Paro (Taktsang Monastery – Tiger’s Nest Hike)
Morning: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery (4-5 hours round trip, optional pony ride partway). Afternoon: Picnic lunch with monastery view, visit Kyichu Lhakhang. Evening: Romantic farewell dinner with cultural show.
