The trek starts from the north of the Paro valley and ends at the north-west of the valley at Taktsang. Taktsang monastery is popularly known as the Tiger’s Nest, one of the holiest places in Bhutan. The first day of the trekking will take you climbing up with spectacular views of the valley and the snow capped mountains. The second day of the trek is relatively easier with mostly descending. The trek on the third day with excursion around Bumdra then ends at Paro Taktsang Monastery and the drive back to Paro.
