Tour Itinerary (7 Days / 6 Nights)
Day 1: Arrival in Paro – Thimphu Transfer
Highlights: Arrival, Scenic drive, Thimphu city overview.
Flights to Bhutan offer breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Meet your guide and driver at the airport.
Late morning/Afternoon: Drive 1.5 hours to Thimphu (65km). Check in at hotel in Thimphu. Evening: Explore Thimphu town, Clock Tower Square, Handicraft Emporium (souvenir and crafts). Optional: Visit a local café for Bhutanese tea.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing
Highlights: Culture, Buddhism, and Nature.
Morning: Buddha Dordenma Statue – gigantic golden Buddha with panoramic valley views. Tashichho Dzong – seat of Bhutanese government and monastic body.
Afternoon: National Memorial Chorten for local culture observation and visit to Folk Heritage Museum & Textile Museum.
Evening: Stroll around Thimphu town, shop for traditional Bhutanese craft market.
Overnight: Thimphu
Day 3: Thimphu – Punakha (via Dochu La Pass)
Highlights: Scenic drive, Punakha.
Stop at Dochu La Pass for Himalayan photography if weather allows. Visit Wangdiphodrang briefly (optional depending on time).
Afternoon: Explore Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful Dzongs located at the confluence of Phochu and Mochu rivers. Short hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple).
Overnight: Punakha
Day 4: Punakha – Paro
4–5 hours to Paro. Enroute visit Tsemo Dokha Dzong, Thimphu, one of the oldest Dzongs in Bhutan.
Afternoon: Check into hotel, explore Paro Town. Visit Paro Rinpong Dzong (Administrative and religious center).
Evening: Free time to stroll around Paro town and enjoy Bhutanese cuisine.

Day 5: Paro Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) Hike
Highlights: Iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery.
Morning: Hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) – 3-4 hours round trip. Enjoy spectacular views of Paro valley and the Himalayan cliffs.
Overnight: Paro
Day 6: Paro Sightseeing & Departure
Morning: Visit Ta Dzong National Museum of Bhutan and drive to Drugyal Dzong.
Afternoon: Relax at your hotel and in the evening farewell Bhutanese dinner in Paro town.

Day 7: Paro Departure
Depart from Paro airport. See off.
